Creating a Purpose Lawyers Account

When you create an account with us or engage our services, we collect the information you choose to provide us with in relation to your account and matter.

Our third party payment platform collects and retains information related to your transactions from your account, matters and any invoices generated. The third party payment platforms may collect your credit card details and other information needed in order to process the payments. It is your responsibility to read, review and ensure you agree with the terms of any third party payment provider used by Purpose Lawyers.

Communications

Purpose Lawyers may communicate with clients through social media, forums and other interactive platforms. Please remember that any content you post in these channels are in the public domain. Any personal information you disclose on these sites may be read, collected and used by other users over whom we have no control. Please be considerate and respectful of others while using the community to share your opinions. We reserve the right to review and monitor any content posted and to remove any content that may be viewed as inappropriate, offensive to others or in breach of our policies. Hosting and International Data Transfers

Information that we collect may from time to time be stored, processed in or transferred between parties or sites located in countries outside of Australia. These may include but are not limited to the Phillipines, the USA and the EU.


We and our other group/affiliated companies have offices and/or facilities in Australia. Transfers to each of these countries will be protected by appropriate safeguards, these include one or more of the following: the use of standard data protection clauses adopted or approved by the European Commission which you can obtain from the European Commission app; the use of binding corporate rules, a copy of which you can obtain by contacting Purpose Lawyers support.

The hosting facilities for our app are situated in Australia. Transfers to each of these Countries will be protected by appropriate safeguards, these include one or more of the following:
